October is a great time to Cleanse

It is October and time for me to return to one of my favourite practices- cleansing! Twice a year I cleanse to boost my entire wellbeing. It involves taking special herbs as well following as a special diet. The basis of this is removing sugar, honey, fruit, wheat, dairy(cow), white rice, caffeine, potatoes, fresh mushrooms and yeast, as these things bring down the immune system and feed parasites. It is natural for us to be host to a whole load of bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, both health enriching and depleting. The whole approach of taking herbs and following the special food guidelines; cleanses out the bad boys, boosts the good ones and gives the whole body and mind good energy and greatly supports general health and wellbieng.

So what can you eat!? Well, plenty! Consider, avocado on spelt bread, hummus, olives, cucumber and spinach on ryvita, roasted sweet potatoes with fresh salad and chickpea burgers, porridge, raw almonds, falafel and so much more, as well as eggs, chicken, meant, and fish if you so like.

Why cleanse!?

A cleanse clears many bugs and parasites boosting the immune system and general health. Parasites are linked to many autoimmune system health issues as well as skin issues, digestive issues and especially tiredness. People can lose 80 % of their energy to these pesty invaders!

Imagine going from living off 20% of your energy to 100%- thats 5 times more energy. Can you imagine!? How much easier it would be to get out of bed, go for a run/ walk, smile going to work, enjoy time with the kids?…

Each time I cleanse, I sleep about an hour less and after 2-3 weeks have much more energy. The first time I cleansed was for over 2 years and then twice yearly thereafter for well over 10 years. It has always occurred too that when I cleanse, something not so nice leaves my life and something lovely enters ! This I put down to the increase in vibration and wellbeing that occurs from this practice. A cleanse takes at least 3 weeks and it is recommended one usually cleanse for 3 -6 weeks, though if one has health issues, it be for longer such as 3 -6 months. Each person is unique as is their healing.

Step 1 in Waking up the Inner Hero

Clear your space

“What you don´t have you don't need somehow, what you don´t have you don't need it now”. Bono, U2

Energy is fluid and naturally flows to us and from us. Sometimes we allow ourselves to be in the flow and sometimes we hold on, materially, physically and emotionally. By letting go of what we no longer require or benefit from and likewise allowing yourself to receive what is being offered, we realign with the flow.

The basis of the flow:

  • Enjoy, use and grow what you have,
  • Release, give away or dispose of what you do not need, enjoy,
  • Receive openly that which is being offered that works for you.

When you meet someone who is looking for what you have and you don’t need it, offer it, and in practice releasing what you no longer need. The universe is a glorious union, a flow made of up lots of cells like the human body each different, unique, but part of the one flowing system. The natural flow brings to people what they need. You are a channel for life when the flow moves more freely through you. Things will come to you as you need them, and sometimes even in advance. Sometimes you’ll be the receiver and sometimes you’ll be the giver. 

If you haven’t already done so recently, it is time to clear out your home. Starting with the bedroom, go through closets, drawers, cupboards… Empty each area at a time.  Fix or dispose of anything broken or that doesn’t make you feel good and get rid of everything you no longer need or use.  

Have 4 bags;      

  • For giving to friends and family
  • For charity
  • For selling
  • For recycling/ disposal.

Also feel free to sell anything you wish, it does not have to be given away! This approach will clear many unnecessary things from your life.

Your mind will become clearer and brighter. Things you’ve been holding on to but no longer need or like also symbolise mental and emotional weights you are unnecessarily carrying.

With each material object you dispense of you will feel emotionally and mentally lighter.

With each area you tidy your mind will also feel lighter and function more clearly. Your mood will lighten. Inner Hero

Give yourself 1 -2 weeks for each room. Aim to enjoy the process.

You will find the opportunity to gift things you no longer require. When you release that which you no longer require, you create space. The universe is organised in a manner that it likes to fill space and will send more to you, what is sent to you now though will be more in alignment with who you currently are and not the old you.

If no one else has use for it, it is okay to recycle or dispose of it as rubbish. Consciously give it back to the universe with gratitude.

Your eyes, mind and heart will be more peaceful when there is tidiness and space surrounding you.

Make a plan now. Visualise it in your mind; the parts of the house, black sacks, emptying, tidying, and see the end result nice clear space that feels great.

Now you are ready to start! And when you get rid of the old stuff, remember new stuff more fitting for you will find a way to you. Below is a chart that can help.

Clear spaces, then maintain every 6 months for peaceful living. 

Enjoy the pleasure of the journey and tick as you complete each area.

Your One Major  Purpose is the one thing more than any other thing you have a calling to experience. It may be something that you:

  • Never told anyone about,
  • Do not even believe is possible or
  • May not know what it is yet.

You’ll recognize it as something that powerfully excites, frightens or moves you. The potential to fulfill this will motivate you to get out of bed in the morning and do, say and be many things that you take you towards and into its realization which will even in your imagination feel superbly fascinating and joyous!

It is helpful to have at least one clear aim or intention even if it is as wonderfully general as being happy. Feel free to change it as you like. It’s a good idea to keep this private.

Put it on a piece of paper and into your wallet. Read and enjoyably visualise daily!

When I first started working with this, my one major aim was to know what my one major aim was! We all have to start somewhere and where ever you are is the right place for you right now. It’s all good! Take a few minutes now to close your eyes, breathe deeply. Bring your awareness to your heart space and ask yourself, What is my One Major Purpose? Shattering Illusions

 

For months now illusions have been shattering and evaporating leaving us all feel a little shaky, lonely and needy at times.

Addictions have been presented to us, blown up in our face, and offered to us to clear if we so choose.

Greater clarity is arising when one does the work and takes responsibility for themselves and their current situation. There are more gifts than hardships, watch where the focus woman angel wingsgoes.

If it is on a hardship, you can choose to become softer, more allowing, forgiving, easier, loving.  If there is someone you don't like, either focus on the light wihtin them or if that feels too much, swap them for another person who makes you feel good. each time you think switch to the person you love and see what happens. At Standing Rock the Native Americans are praying for those who oppose them. They are praying for the police, security forces, big corporations, oil companies and banks. They are praying for their families , for their hearts, that they may come back home to love, understanding and truth. As I turn my focus to love to be with all at Standing Rock, I also look to pray for and love those I have found cruel, abusive, hurtful and mean. The world is changing. 

For I openheartedness is the way, not because it makes me soft and hippyish(!) but because it is the heart, and it is from the heart that the soul impulses through the body. Life is mostly an illusion guided by our personal desires for sex, food tobacco, coffee, alcohol, public notice, sugar, drugs of all sorts, power and so on. The fifth dimension is where we have graduated addiction and aversion and are becoming present in the body in love. Many come and go from this space. It is a higher level of existence. It’s like a whole new level on a computer game you never previously knew existed. 

The thing that I notice in myself and others is while discipline requires consistency it also gives consistency to this space and experience. Some people have no problem eating a chocolate biscuit or smoking a joint and feeling it, but what then? Stay with addictions as long as you wish but bring in some form of daily practise too. Eventually the addiction will become uninteresting and wash itself away like a car wash self washing you wont even need to press a button. You might find yourself in the company of someone with the same addiction as you and you get to see it as not that pretty or you just decide and realise one day, this isn’t me. It's not what it is, it is the addiction to it. Step by step….

There is nothing wrong with doing/ being anything if it works for you but it stops being, recognise it. Then one might worry what is left? Please don’t let it be just a boring life! Maybe one of the greatest fears.

This is where the heart space and inner light become the centre point.  What if we make this our motivation, where will we go, what will happen? Is it possible that once one stops running away from things and lets go of addictions, that there is something incredibly more interesting and enjoyable to discover? Yes.

So then, what do we do when a moment arises, where we feel pulled in some way or uncomfortable being authentic!? Dying to the moment is a favourite. If something arises where I feel uncomfortable, I choose to die to the moment, basically letting go of it and all my self-importance with it. It's like clearing the ego and seeing what is left. Quite refreshing actually! It's one of the most calming things to do and brings me back into the heart space and out of some story that is brewing. Everytime I die to the moment I feel more alive in a more enjoyable way!

This is where we are at now and it is a choice. I choose…….. your words your way this is your freedom and your power. Use it consciously and joyfully.

Daily practise be it meditation, walking, eating well or a combination of all helps provide a greater stability through these somewhat challenging times. I’m an advocate of daily meditation. I meditate every morning and night, first thing I do before I get out of bed, and last thing before I sleep; I sit up back straight cross legged and breathe for as long as is needed. If you have never done this, I implore you to experiment and start today! 3 breaths is enough to begin, then when you are ready expand it out longer, 5 minutes, 10 minutes- can change your life. What happens? Deep peace. Peace becomes one’s default state, sleep improves, calmness increases and things become clearer. Of course there can still be a challenging day, sometimes the best to do is go to bed! Even when it’s a challenge though you’ll be in a whole difference ball game and get yourself back together quicker and with greater ease. This is building true strength.

For those who have laboured on their journey of consciousness great gifts are being bestowed. Indeed great gifts are being bestowed on all, it’s just easier for the calm person to see, experience and enjoy them.

Let today be the day that we take 3 breaths for ourselves, for our families, and for all at standing rock. For all everywhere. We are united, we are One and everything everyone does affects the whole. Your 3 breaths today will move things into more peace for all. Isn’t that worth it!?

Delight Meditation!

Hi and welcome to the beginning of one of my favourite Heart cloudmeditations ever!

  • Fills my cup with overflowing good energy so that there is plenty for all.

The Delight Meditation

Awareness of delight in the moment is the greatest guide to harmony. It guides us along a path that is for our higher good and the higher good of all. Meditating upon delight is incredibly powerful and a quick way of aligning with the soul self. It will increases awareness of light and delight. It helps one:

  • Attune to peace and joy which will then seen more obvious in daily life.
  • Recognise the optimal path for your optimal life, and thus, help you make wise and loving decisions.
  • Tune into moment by moment soul guidance.
  • Connect with your inner vision.
  • Experience abundance and joy.
  • Be aware of delight in any moment.
  • Feel ease regardless of what is occurring.
  1. 5 breaths:Move awareness from the mind to the stomach muscles.
  2. Push the stomach muscles into the spine to exhale, once you exhale keep the stomach muscles held in for a few seconds as you pause.
  3. When it feels natural, push the stomach muscles out, as a breath is naturally drawn in. Again pause for a moment holding the full breath                                    i.    Repeat for 5 breaths to get in the flow.
  4. For 5 more breaths continue but focus upon feeling the air entering the leaving the nostrils. Feel the heart spae opening.
  5. For 5 breaths focus for a few seconds on the pause in between the breaths.
  6. Call in the feeling of delight and locate it somewhere on your body. It is still or moving? Observe it x 5 breaths.

Like to go to the next step!?

  1. Visualise a white light surrounding your aura.
  2. For 10 breaths:
  3. Inhale light and the feeling of delight from the white light of your aura into your heart.
  4. Exhale the light and the feeling delight light back out into the light which surrounds your aura.
  5. After 10 breaths the body and aura will be radiating white light and full of the feeling of delight.

Stress Relief

Is managing stress is an area you are dealing with?

Here are some great ways to increase the peace:

  • B Complex vitamin: Take 1 daily each morning, take 2, one at breakfast and one a noon/lunch – but no later than 3pm) on stressful/ challenging days that require more energy and greater calm.
  • Good oils, either flax seed/ fish/ hemp/ etc. Udo’s choice are great, either in capsule or liquid – depending on which you will use. Take 2 -3 capsules daily at the beginning of a meal such as dinner
  • Ponder regularly perhaps each morning and or evening, or at least once a week,

Who am I and how would I feel, what would I be doing/ thinking/ speaking if there was no stress?”

The pondering of this is important and will bring you closer and more in alignment with this reality.

  • Consider the version of you where you feel little or no stress and fill out the following ( they can change day on day):
    • I am…
    • I believe ….
    • I am happy that….
    • Thank you…
    • I love…
  • Cut out sugar, replace with fruit, honey, stevia etc. Increase water intake to approx 2 litres (non tap - either filtered or bottled) daily.
  • Green smoothies: Get yourself a little whizzer if you don’t already have one. Look at the “Have a superlife” mix of 8 super foods available from health stores, 300g is about 20 euros. A large dessert spoon of this mixed with cucumber, spinach, celery water and whatever else you like (almonds soaked overnight, dates for sweetness…) also ok and fine to make fruity ones with berries, pineapple etc… will vitalize your blood nad being each morning so the point that you may crave them above any other breakfast option!
  • Morning run/ walk for 10 to 20 minutes. This will clear stress right out of the system, give you a natural high, oxygenate your body and get into your real soul rhythm. Ask your man to join you if that helps!
  • Take magnesium an hour before bed and ornithine (available from website) for a deep healing and restful sleep.
  • Emotionally, have a Bach Flower remedy made for you ( available from website and via personal appointments/ healing sessions).
  • Have some healing/ massage every few weeks to ease stress and help you let go of past. Being in the present moment in peace is the easiest and most delightful and inspiring place to be. Healing can greatly help this state of being arise.

The term highly sensitive person (HSP)dolphins jumping is used to describe 10 - 20% of the population who are more sensitive than the average person.

This sensitivity can be seen externally in various ways:

  • emotional, for example gets deeply upset from criticism
  • physical, responds to certain foods with intolerance such as headaches, migraine, skin problems...
  • mental, finds it hard to think in new company or certain vibes and environments, for example loud places or people can feel uncomfortable

In the link below there is an audio talk by specialist, Elaine Aron, on "highly sensitive people". It is a lovely talk and well worth the listen if this is a theme in your life or someone you know. Here is some of what she has to say:

  • Your trait is normal. It is found in 15 to 20% of the population–too many to be a disorder, but not enough to be well understood by the majority of those around you. It is innate. In fact, biologists have found it in over 100 species (and probably there are many more) from fruit flies, birds, and fish to dogs, cats, horses, and primates.

  • This trait reflects a certain type of survival strategy, being observant before acting. The brains of highly sensitive persons (HSPs) actually work a little differently than others'.You are more aware than others of subtleties. This is mainly because your brain processes information and reflects on it more deeply. So even if you wear glasses, for example, you see more than others by noticing more.

  • You are also more easily overwhelmed. If you notice everything, you are naturally going to be overstimulated when things are too intense, complex, chaotic, or novel for a long time.

  • This trait is not a new discovery, but it has been misunderstood. Because HSPs prefer to look before entering new situations, they are often called "shy." But shyness is learned, not innate. In fact, 30% of HSPs are extraverts, although the trait is often mislabeled as introversion. It has also been called inhibitedness, fearfulness, or neuroticism. Some HSPs behave in these ways, but it is not innate to do so and not the basic trait.

  • Sensitivity is valued differently in different cultures. In cultures where it is not valued, HSPs tend to have low self-esteem. They are told "don't be so sensitive" so that they feel abnormal.

I had a blast at the Electric Picnic two weeks ago at Stradbally where I was overawed at the great peace present  and between so many people.
