Human Design Baby!

Do you know what Human Design type you are?  The Dreamer never dies

We all know about birth charts, horoscopes and astrology, both western and vedic. When calculated these can provide us with amazing insights into our character, challenges and opportunities.

How about your human design though, have you yet come across this?

The basics of human design are: 

FOUR TYPES OF HUMAN BEINGS AND THEIR STRATEGY
The Human Design System groups people into 4 specific types: 

Manifestors, Generators, Projectors and Reflectors. 

The main difference between each type is in their aura. Although there are endless variations within each type (and within our genetics), each type has a specific auric quality that determines its strategy - a correct way of approaching and navigating life. 

MANIFESTOR

Manifestors are a minority - around 8% of all people. You are the only type that is here to initiate.

GENERATOR

Almost 70 % of all people are Generators. If you have a defined Sacral center, then no matter how the rest of your chart looks, you are one of them. Generators are the great workers of the world.

PROJECTOR

If you are a Projector (22 % of population), you are not here to work. You are here to know others, to recognize and guide them. But that can only happen if you yourself are 1) recognized and 2) invited to do so.

REFLECTOR

Reflectors make up only about 1 % of the population. If you have all your centers open, you are a Reflector. You are completely open to the world and others. 

The strategy of each type is very simple, yet it may be not be easy to put into practice at first. Manifestors, who feel controlled by others all their life, need to inform. Generators, who have oceans of energy, can't just go around doing anything - they need to wait and respond. Projectors, who can see others and are here to guide them, need to wait for an invitation - something they never expect to happen. And Reflectors, with their openness and taking in other people's definition, must wait 29 days before making a major decision - no matter how certain they feel about something in the moment.

By the way I am a 6/2 Projector.

These aspects of Projector and 6/2 are very appropriate for I:

  • Learning about boundaries and saying no strongly and peacefully.
  • Being alone time essential.
  • Waiting for invitation to share.
  • We magnify energy and need to be by ourselves or with the right people and right environment.
  • Being the authentic self above all else and comfortable with being different.
  • Not to work full time ( even though I kinda do I mix it between a few jobs I love and work my own hours- essential!).
  • Here to play and express the joy the divine! Yes, explains a lot when you see me on the dance floor or at kirtan!

October is a great time to Cleanse

It is October and time for me to return to one of my favourite practices- cleansing! Twice a year I cleanse to boost my entire wellbeing. It involves taking special herbs as well following as a special diet. The basis of this is removing sugar, honey, fruit, wheat, dairy(cow), white rice, caffeine, potatoes, fresh mushrooms and yeast, as these things bring down the immune system and feed parasites. It is natural for us to be host to a whole load of bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, both health enriching and depleting. Eclipse central!

There have been immense changes taking place over the past 8 weeks energetcially.

Look back, can you see somet themes and insights?

Mine include and revolve mostly around stepping up my awareness and choice in being of service.

Of service to the cosmic heart, the same light  life force that exists in teh heart of all being. Serving this light expanded my awareness into greater clarity and love. Aum.

This journey into serving God, and I am sorry to say that word because it can be so misconstrued but I am using it because I do believe there is a kind force of light in this universe that connects, harmonises and holds everything and that we as beings have this energy as our centre and are love. As we come home to ourselves we come home to love, and to this light. It feels easy, peaceful, expansive, safe and even joyous regularly enough! It 's NOT something to be chased but that just arises with greater clarity as we take responsibilty for ourselves and pursue our path of service, whatever that is and however that looks for each individual. 

WE have great scope at present to jump. There is a mgic bridge being built over this eclipse and it's not about listing off your wants incuding that red lambourgini, but rahter just being in your centre and present in your environment and home. I heard a lovely idea being shared yesterday, that when Krishna whose birthday was on Wednesday just gone, when as a child he defeated many demons. They say now that we do not have many demons but rather the demon mentality (greed, abuse etc) that poeple are clearing... but anyway when he did kill them, a demigod usually came out of the demon that had gotten lost/ confused/ chosen badly at some stage and thorugh killing the demon the demi god got liberated and could go back to teh light and love! This makes me smile, just think of anyone who irritaes you etc and imagine there is a beautiful being in there being liberated (and of course relates to us and any behaviours/ etc we may have!) ;) 

The divine power is awakening in us and uniting us for the greater good, and it's a really cool trip.  

You probbly already have and I encourage you (myself included!) to step up our practices be it praying, reading inspiring words, meditation, yoga, making food for others, being a mum, breathing, being in nature... 

Today am sending love to all beings on this planet and beyond. Shall we do this together?

The sacred heart space of all beings

Everyone is a star. Everyone is a hero. The heroic version of yourself is inside you and it is awakening. It sits in the heart and is aligned with love. It awakens to love and to service. When you seek to awaken the heart be it your own or that of others, you will realize that there is one sacred heart that can be found in all beings. There is one sacred heart, and yet you and each person has their own colour and personality and unique gifts to offer to this world via the sacred heart. The liberated beautiful and brilliant self is one that is aware of the sacred heart. We also call this the inner hero and quite wonderfully, this is who you truly are!

Harmony

Meditation

Harmony exists in the now in every moment, and can be tapped into at any time regardless of what is going on. Next time you find yourself experiencing a challenge, ask yourself,

“Where is the harmony now?”

Feel for it and allow it to guide you. Harmony is a healthy focus and a super guide. Sometimes one can feel it but is too lazy or busy to go with it. Discovering and moving with your own internal rhythm and timing is central to exploring and experiencing harmony.

Being in harmony with yourself; you speak truth, love easily and exist peacefully. 

The dominant vibration one holds is how one feels and what one attracts, i.e. if one breathes harmoniously, one will automatically feel more harmony and circumstances will occur more harmoniously in their life. In this modern, busy world, harmony is definitely more a choice than something one accidentally falls into. 

When one feels stuck in life it is often due to their inner GPS being set to drama, sadness, anger, self-pity or a myriad of other unhelpful vibrations!. Try shifting your central core feeling to harmony today and see how your day unfolds. Focus on it strongly for a few minutes to really conenct with it then continue with your day. When you remember, take 3 harmonious breaths in a row. 

One has the power to alter one’s vibration at any time. By focusing upon harmonious breathing, one accepts what is as is and one’s reality alters.

Many people especially those who regularly meditate are able to alter their vibration at will. The feelings you focus on in meditation will be reflected back to you throughout the day, in this case, harmony will be reflected back to you through harmonious feelings and experiences. A worth enough reason to focus upon it for 3 minutes+!

The more harmonious the breath, the more harmonious you’ll feel and regardless of reality, you'll perceive it from a more harmonious place.

Considerations.

Questions that can help to favourably open up the mind:

 

I wonder how today will go if it is delightful from this minute onwards to the second I fall asleep?

I wonder how tomorrow would be if I wake up feeling delight, have an amazing, satisfying and delightful day, and then fall to sleep feeling delight?

 

Often asking this question heralds a wave of joy for the day ahead and following days ahead! 

 

The master and leader of your destiny is arising within you. You are a master, awakening as a veil of illusion is evaporating.

You can observe yourself more clearly and realise how powerful you are in creating your reality.

What if life is a self-fulfilling prophecy and you are the one prophesizing!?

This is worth some serious consideration. What do you ponder? Imagine? Self-prophesize? Bring harmony in and see what that tells you and delivers.

In this new paradigm, we take the perspective that there are no problems. Anything that used to be considered a problem is now an opportunity. List here any old problems (left column) that are now being seen as opportunities (right column). This can help one release old patterns and shift to delight!

Problem – What are you running away from?

Opportunity –Seeing harmony in it and realising the gift of the situation

C'est ca! Even just one thing- one 'issue!' Bring it into harmony now- and return to it throughout the next few days. Nice One!

Growing pains!?

Spiritual Change and Transformation in the Now!   Sunrise July 2017

When life gets in a funk, what do you do? Many people are going through challenges at present. As we all know when a challenge comes, we can either drown or become a better swimmer. I’m all for growth and so it’s no surprise that I view challenge as an opportunity to outgrow the old self! As I do I become a more expanded version of myself, more harmonious, conscious and integrated. This is the vision! Here are some of my approaches for dealing with these gorgeous growing pains! Please share and feel free to add your own. Ideas are one of the few things that increase in quantity when shared ?

  • I feel it. Whatever it is. I just really feel it, and allow myself to express it in words/ actions/ tears/ music etc. Once I feel it fully, ti begins to move, which is the idea. You don’t want to get stuck with an unpleasant feeling for a long time, it’s not good for your health. So number 1 feel and express however feels natural.
  • I remember my core vision of life, that is;

‘Life is always working out for me!’

I view all situations that arise this way. Of course things can suck, but after feeling it a while, I also ponder it from this perspective. That leads me to number 3!

  • I bring in my favourite prayer,

‘Thank you for this blessing!'

Take that, pow, you unpleasant feeling, bet you weren’t expecting that. This is a go to statement I use regularly. I find it particularly powerful in the face of atrocity ( or anything that leans this direction!)!  Repeat this over and over in the face of something that you cannot see a blessing in and I guarantee you within a few days you will shift, and begin to see the blessing. Guarantee you I say- or your money back :)

  • Remember if a situation/ experience doesn’t feel good, the story is not over yet! Sure why not spend a minute or 2 visualising a nice ending and then just let it go. Over time things change, become clearer and often change.
  • Choose to embrace patience in your time of growth! This is a MAJOR theme. Patience, people want it now, this minute and get upset that ‘it will never happen,’ Patience dude, things are flowing perfectly quite often so give it time. So what can help with patience!? Well there is a Bach Flower remedy that can help, it’s called Impatiens- get yourself a bottle and take a few drop 5 – 10 times a day, more regularly the more intense it is! If you are having a general hissy/ stress attack get yourself some Rescue Remedy while you are at it. B Complex vitamins decrease stress, take 1-2 in the morning. Magnesium at night time also helps, as does good oils such as Udo’s oil, all available from health stores. Also remember to use your power, using your power usually starts with a choice, ‘I choose to be patient.’ Ponder what that feels like and you’ll get the ball rolling in the right direction!
  • Who your main relationship in life is with? Is there a God/ Krishna/ creative power/ love that you relate to? Often there is and one forgets this power in times of challenge. Keep your central relationship centre in your life and it will help keep all in balance and give you strength.
  • Use a mantra! This can help quiet the mind. You can use anything from ‘One’ to an affirmation to a sanskrit mantra. I often use,

‘Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Kirishna, Hare Hare,

Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama, Rama, Hare Hare.’

Repeat this mantra in your head and out loud. Move your awareness through the body from the crown to the feet repeating your mantra. Then go back and look for where the challenge/ emotions sit on the body. Repeat the mantra in this place and it will take you from the story back into to the present moment.

  • Every day do something good for yourself and bring goodness to others. Help yourself and help someone somehow. This brings lots of good energy.
  • Remember that life is made up of seasons and cycles. There is rest time, process emotion time, it’s okay to do nothing time, it’s time to get off your ass time, it’s time to put away the childish toys time, time for action, time for celebrating…!
  • Remember your passion and give it some time even 10 – 15 minutes. Draw a picture with a pen and paper, make up a melody, sing a song, make something, sew something and if you don’t ‘have a passion, just do something that makes you feel good for even a few minutes. You’ll get pleasure from it and it will get you back into your authentic self and centre! Great!
  • Focus on the breath for 3 breaths as often as you can. Use the stomach muscles to take three breaths. Push the muscles in and out peacefully, drawing the breath in and out. Viola!
  • Give the delight meditatin a go. If you feel like more than the three breaths, Click here! for a light yet powerful deeper favourite meditaiton of mine!
  • What do you appreciate right now!? Shift the focus. Click here for more!
  • Not matter how rough tough it feels, remember this too will pass. Whatever it is, wonderful or temporary, if it's in the outer world, it will come and it will go! The question is how smooth do you wish it to be as you move through it!? All the above points will help smoothen the path.

Wake Up Inner Hero!

Everyone is a star. Everyone is a hero. The heroic version of yourself is inside you and it is awakening. It is aligned with love and clear, yet it has its own colour, personality and gifts to bring to this world. The liberated beautiful and brilliant self - your inner hero is who you truly are!

Would you like to know yourself better and be more of your Inner Hero?

Your hero is always present; you just got to turn your focus to see and be one with the true you!

That means no getting side tracked by addictions and aversions! I know! But it doesn’t mean that you can not enjoy things, you can! It’s really just means to not get sidetracked by being overly attached or just too scared. Trust me, it is a seriously fun, fascinating and fulfilling path and worth experiencing! 

In the things you do well in life, your hero is acting through you. Keep growing these areaa and aim to expand the other areas of your life to this level too. In growth, there is expansion and in expansion there is oneness with the life force energy. Introduce the ease that you feel in one area to another!

The inner hero is peaceful, happy, courageous and strong. Sometimes the hero requires rest and rejuvenation and this is also perfect. Sometimes the hero has to find the energy to move their ass and get going, this too is perfect. The hero within you is the real you. Are you willing to allow your hero to be in each and every moment!?

"Where is my hero now!?"

We, mankind are shifting identity as we move into greater consciousness; from personalities with souls, to souls with personalities and this shift in identity makes quite a difference.

Keep a journal, record how you feel, major events and observations and get ready to watch the magic unfold. It is a commitment, and commitment is super powerful. Let’s warm up!

What you'd love to happen but is not happening is usually what you are afraid of.

In your journal, write out what you’d love to see happening in your life and project love into these ideas regularly. This will help lead the subconscious from resistance, fear and sabotage to peace, acceptance and delight!

 

~When you focus on what makes you feel good you naturally generate feel-good energy~

~Move your focus to a place that feels good for at least some of your day! 5 minutes here and 5 minutes there goes a very long way to creating a much more enjoyable day!

Experiment and see for free!~

Focus on feel good for 3 x 5 minutes daily- and after 5 days you’ll see that you’ll feel quite sweet or your money back! ?

The Hare Krishna is said to be the mantra of mantra, the mantra that encompasses all other mantras. 

For the past 8 years since I was first moved by the mantra it has had varying meanings for I and my journey and I felt compelled after attending the most recent 24 hour kirtan to share some of how this has impacted my life...

When I first heard it walking through Prana New Year’s festival in New Zealand, it was something powerfully sweet and beautiful. I didn’t know what it meant but could feel a sweetness  that sounded amazing and I wished to experience more of. I began to observe how some of the people who sang this mantra had a lightness and joy. 9 months later back in Ireland I felt a need to add something to my spiritual practices. I was meditating, healing etc. but realised it was time to introduce something new into my life that would increase the awareness and integration of the connection between voice and heart. As soon as I questioned what that could be, the answer came to try the Hare Krishna chanting that I had heard that beautiful afternoon back in NZ.  Within 24 hours I noticed a sign when I was walking down Abbey St in Dublin. I went online and saw there was a weekly kirtan which would be taking place the following day. I went along and have pretty much been going ever since.

At first I felt a million miles away from the sounds I could hear. I desperately wished to be able to sing along and experience the feeling that was calling me. Over time it happened, first a word or two then the whole mantra, sometimes very loud and out of tune! Sometimes I cried from a sadness that arose and sometimes I laughed. Sometimes I cringed at my voice, sometimes I marvelled at others, and found and still find that when I truly listened to all voices and instruements playing together in the one moment, I am truly deeply and powerfully moved! I noticed that whenever I would bump into someone afterwards on my way home, they would often mention that I looked well. The chanting releases an inner fire and energy, it purifies the heart and uplifts the spirit. It nourishes the being beyond what food, drugs, exercise and sex can. It’s a different flavour, one that boosts all areas of life and makes intoxicants seem trivial and playschool toys. Still everything can have its place but nothing I knew could quite compare to what I could feel and experience during a kirtan, not every kirtan but many of them. Sometimes they’d feel painful and to stay was an act of sure discipline, but that’s okay and sometimes I'd stay and sometimes I'd go!

The 24 hour kirtan in Birmingham has been going for many years and I have been fortunate to attend the past 5 years. Each year I marvel at how something beautiful occurs during and after it. At first being able to sing and chant with so many others was such a trip. To listen to 700+ people chanting this mantra at the same time in a sacred environment with a new dawn kirtan 24 hour1amazing musicians and people spontaneously dancing and twirling is the sacred buzz!

Sunday 24 hour kirtan smiling Last year I remember a part of my brain opening and all this beautiful energy flowing through. The week that followed visiting my sister and giving healing sessions in London was seriously blessed too.

This year I observed myself on the Saturday wondering if this mantra being repeated so intensely was really beneficial. I observed all thoughts arise. I wondered why I always attended this kirtan, without even needing to think about it. I wondered if maybe I didn’t need to go any longer. But onwards I went watching thoughts arise and disappear as I chanted,

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare,

Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

I was enjoyably tired and when it came to 1am felt it was a good time to have a sleep on the mat next to kirtan. Most poeple stay in hotels but for I to stay right beside the kirtan and fall asleep to it, sleep with it and wake to it is an important part of the pilgrimage/ journey. I fell asleep quickly and woke 4 hours later to a crescendo and great kirtan with the 10 or so who were still up playing. About 20 stayed on the floor in differing areas of the hall and the rest had returned home and arranged hotels which the event organisers had highly encouraged.

As I awoke I felt such a warmth love, blessings of the great mother, father and holy spirit talking and moving through me. I lay and listened and after 45 minutes or so sat back up and joined back in. Something felt different though. I felt different; lighter, clearer and so much inner love flowing everywhere giving me messages of peace and joy. 24 hour kirtan Madhava

I was blessed with having that day to give great thanks to the creator, be it God, Krishna, the holy spirit, love, these are just words I am using to describe a feeling, a state of being, where I felt more in the now than maybe every before. As I chanted the mantra I could feel the energy flowing right through the body and energy field in a pattern I hadn’t previously experienced. Beautifully radical!

I got the opportunity on Sunday to chant for my family, friends, those I went to school with, those I work with and those I am yet to meet. I chanted for Ireland, for Birmingham, for the U.K. for the Earth, solar system and beyond. I chanted for love, compassion, forgiveness, wisdom and truth.  My energy field mixed with that of the room and I could feel and see love moving through all.

Although it’s called a 24 hour kirtan it actually went on for 32 hours. At 26 hours it was time for I to leave. I hada  train and plane to catch back to Ireland to attend an ole friend’s birthday party. I felt tears of love and gratitude. I felt a flow of oneness with the Divine, feeling the flow in the now and with it a new softness and expanding light. I am forever grateful for the mystery and gifts of this mantra and all who create, partake and make this event possible. It blew me away over 8 years ago and continues to do so. It has continually strengthened me on the spiritual journey and given me greater access to depths of love, far more than any drug, chocolate, synthetic or otherwise! I’m not one for going on about things, but for anyone you meet who is in a good place, there are practices they undertake regularly to create and sustain the good space. I have many, from keeping my spaces clean and clear to good nutrition to alkalising juices to cleansing to meditating to music to art to good association to being in nature…  And I think this recent journey and the renewed recognition of this mantra's strength might have just put it into a definite No 1 place in practices of my life. All I say really is, If you feel the calling, give it a go. You can repeat in in your mind as you go about your day, or for a walk, sing it out loud in the car or come to a kirtan. There is a kirtan boom happening around the world right now so you'll probably find one pretty close to where you live if you look on-line. So ahppy to share this treasure! 

It’s amazing what you can experience in 24 hours- sometimes!

Monaco Alters lighting up!

Recently I was taken back to the lovely South of France for a week where it was great to catch up with some beautiful clients offer healing sessions and even spend time with some of my lovely family :)

It is a beautiful experience and honour to witness people steping beyond the world of illusion and more deeply into their soul's calling.

One of the frequent things that was discussed in sessions was the alter.

Do you have an alter in your home?   candle flame

Did you know that the alter is a place where we can get help with altering something!?

I have learned that it is beneficial to have a central point where one can light a candle, place photos, intentions, blessings and questions.

It is also a place symboliclally and otherwise that helps one centre themselves on the light, highr good, god, angels, or whatever description you give to the great power that creates and sustains the universe.

Dont' have room for an alter? That's okay. You can create one in your imgaination as beautful as you wish nad go there each morning and light the candle daily. It is equally powerful.

The lighting of the candle sets up the day ahead and the intention to be one with light, love, peace, carty, wisdom and truth.

There is great power in this and if attracted to the idea, encourage you to give it a go for 10 days or so and see how the days progress.

This concept comes from Napoleon Hill’s famous book, “Think and Grow Rich.”

Your One Major  Purpose is the one thing more than any other thing you have a calling to experience. It may be something that you:

  • Never told anyone about,
  • Do not even believe is possible or
  • May not know what it is yet.

You’ll recognize it as something that powerfully excites, frightens or moves you. The potential to fulfill this will motivate you to get out of bed in the morning and do, say and be many things that you take you towards and into its realization which will even in your imagination feel superbly fascinating and joyous!

It is helpful to have at least one clear aim or intention even if it is as wonderfully general as being happy. Feel free to change it as you like. It’s a good idea to keep this private.

Put it on a piece of paper and into your wallet. Read and enjoyably visualise daily!

When I first started working with this, my one major aim was to know what my one major aim was! We all have to start somewhere and where ever you are is the right place for you right now. It’s all good! Take a few minutes now to close your eyes, breathe deeply. Bring your awareness to your heart space and ask yourself, What is my One Major Purpose?
