Eclipse central!

There have been immense changes taking place over the past 8 weeks energetcially.

Look back, can you see somet themes and insights?

Mine include and revolve mostly around stepping up my awareness and choice in being of service.

Of service to the cosmic heart, the same light  life force that exists in teh heart of all being. Serving this light expanded my awareness into greater clarity and love. Aum.

This journey into serving God, and I am sorry to say that word because it can be so misconstrued but I am using it because I do believe there is a kind force of light in this universe that connects, harmonises and holds everything and that we as beings have this energy as our centre and are love. As we come home to ourselves we come home to love, and to this light. It feels easy, peaceful, expansive, safe and even joyous regularly enough! It 's NOT something to be chased but that just arises with greater clarity as we take responsibilty for ourselves and pursue our path of service, whatever that is and however that looks for each individual. 

WE have great scope at present to jump. There is a mgic bridge being built over this eclipse and it's not about listing off your wants incuding that red lambourgini, but rahter just being in your centre and present in your environment and home. See what links are offered to you. There is great scope when we WORK TOGETHER. WE help each other and achieve even greater outcomes this way. See where TEAM comes up for you, where you say hey, et's do this togeehr and see what happens... feel open and allow yourself to offer and put ideas out there with those around you. Orla Tara

I heard a lovely idea being shared yesterday, that when Krishna whose birthday was on Wednesday just gone, when as a child he defeated many demons. They say now that we do not have many demons but rather the demon mentality (greed, abuse etc) that poeple are clearing... but anyway when he did kill them, a demigod usually came out of the demon that had gotten lost/ confused/ chosen badly at some stage and thorugh killing the demon the demi god got liberated and could go back to teh light and love! This makes me smile, just think of anyone who irritaes you etc and imagine there is a beautiful being in there being liberated (and of course relates to us and any behaviours/ etc we may have!) ;) 

The divine power is awakening in us and uniting us for the greater good, and it's a really cool trip.  

You probbly already have and I encourage you (myself included!) to step up our practices be it praying, reading inspiring words, meditation, yoga, making food for others, being a mum, breathing, being in nature... 

Today am sending love to all beings on this planet and beyond. Shall we do this together?

Us and them is disolving into the sacred light in all beings.

Corporate Wellbeing on the Rise~

I'm deligthed to share that workplace wellbeing is on the up and up!

On Friday the 30th of June,  Arise To Succeed launched their Breakfast Club at the Merrion Hotel, where we shared insights on focus with a special audience. A2S Breakfast at the Merrion Orla & Anna

We called it 50 Shades of Focus.

It’s great to see how many organisations are interested in wellbeing and looking to develop new programmes, or compliment the initiatives they already have in place. Wellbeing is definitely a hot topic and we are delighted that we had a full house. We will be holding another breakfast event in early September and are inviting intrested parties. Step 1 in Waking up the Inner Hero

Clear your space

“What you don´t have you don't need somehow, what you don´t have you don't need it now”. Bono, U2

Energy is fluid and naturally flows to us and from us. Sometimes we allow ourselves to be in the flow and sometimes we hold on, materially, physically and emotionally. By letting go of what we no longer require or benefit from and likewise allowing yourself to receive what is being offered, we realign with the flow.

The basis of the flow:

  • Enjoy, use and grow what you have,
  • Release, give away or dispose of what you do not need, enjoy,
  • Receive openly that which is being offered that works for you.

When you meet someone who is looking for what you have and you don’t need it, offer it, and in practice releasing what you no longer need. The universe is a glorious union, a flow made of up lots of cells like the human body each different, unique, but part of the one flowing system. The natural flow brings to people what they need. You are a channel for life when the flow moves more freely through you. Things will come to you as you need them, and sometimes even in advance. Sometimes you’ll be the receiver and sometimes you’ll be the giver. 

If you haven’t already done so recently, it is time to clear out your home. Starting with the bedroom, go through closets, drawers, cupboards… Empty each area at a time.  Fix or dispose of anything broken or that doesn’t make you feel good and get rid of everything you no longer need or use.  

Have 4 bags;      

  • For giving to friends and family
  • For charity
  • For selling
  • For recycling/ disposal.

Also feel free to sell anything you wish, it does not have to be given away! This approach will clear many unnecessary things from your life.

Your mind will become clearer and brighter. Things you’ve been holding on to but no longer need or like also symbolise mental and emotional weights you are unnecessarily carrying.

With each material object you dispense of you will feel emotionally and mentally lighter.

With each area you tidy your mind will also feel lighter and function more clearly. Your mood will lighten. Inner Hero

Give yourself 1 -2 weeks for each room. Aim to enjoy the process.

You will find the opportunity to gift things you no longer require. When you release that which you no longer require, you create space. The universe is organised in a manner that it likes to fill space and will send more to you, what is sent to you now though will be more in alignment with who you currently are and not the old you.

If no one else has use for it, it is okay to recycle or dispose of it as rubbish. Consciously give it back to the universe with gratitude.

Your eyes, mind and heart will be more peaceful when there is tidiness and space surrounding you.

Make a plan now. Visualise it in your mind; the parts of the house, black sacks, emptying, tidying, and see the end result nice clear space that feels great.

Now you are ready to start! And when you get rid of the old stuff, remember new stuff more fitting for you will find a way to you. Below is a chart that can help.

Clear spaces, then maintain every 6 months for peaceful living. 

Enjoy the pleasure of the journey and tick as you complete each area.

The Wonders of a Cleanse!

Every 6 months or so I do a cleanse. I keeps me well and deepens the  peace and happiness.

I started cleansing for purely physical improvements; skin, digestive issues, low energy, emotional imbalance and sadness were all knocking on my door and becoming too much to carry. Today I still receive a physical and emotional boost, but I also really notice how patterns of behaviour and spiritual insight become clearer in the space and some positive shift occurs. 

4 weeks ago I hoped on board the most recent cleanse train.

The last few cleanses over the past few years have been fairly easy and I thought this one would be too... Make the decision, just do it and enjoy every day as much as possible. How hard can it be!?

What does this cleanse involve?

1. Herbs to clear parasites, bugs and waste out of the body

2. Certain amino acids to help you heal, rejuvenate, sleep more deeply, cleanse toxins out of the body and provide additional energy to make up for caffeine and sweet things.

3. Eliminate certain foods from the diet. These include: sugar, fruit, honey, wheat, dairy, white potatoes, white rice and yeast.

4. Eating well. A cleanse is more about what you can have than what you can’t have. For many this requires a major shift to eating patterns. Grains like brown rice, quinoa and pasta made from brown rice and vegetables can be enjoyed along with lots of fresh vegetables, meat, fish, tofu, salads, soups, casseroles and curry dishes. There are loads of menu ideas and options available. Raw nuts and goat cheese became good friends. Almond butter is a delicious treat, roasted sweet potato wedges a sure fix for a low blood sugar, green smoothies a must for vitality and energy.

The challenge!

  • It was easy for the first 10 days!
  • Then I had cravings arise. You need to eat well on a cleanse, if you are hungry it can feel quite difficult. A varied healthy diet with good meals and a supply of snacks to bring with you just in case such as nuts and seeds, hummus and cucumber really helps.
  • I found a need and desire for a massive amount of nuts, and following eating quite a lot of mixed almond, cashew, walnut and brazil nuts that I felt satisfied and my blood sugar rebalanced itself!
  • After about 3 weeks, things which weren’t that sweet before began to taste much sweeter! Tomatoes deliciously sweet, raw cashews too. The taste buds are reawakened and all food tastes nicer and is more easily satisfying. This was a great moment as I really felt the desire for sugar go. I was about 14 days into the cleanse when I started getting visions of 99’s, cakes, cappuccino, and stuff I’d not even normally be thinking of arise in my mind, calling me! I had to ask the question, what part of me is calling for this food? A good cleanse stops feeding bugs, kills them and removes them, cleanses the intestines and provides energy and healing support.
  • About 3 weeks into the cleanse, I also noticed that I didn’t require as much sleep as I had prior. It went from about 8 to 7 hours- quite a result as I like to live fully and rest well!

How it feels now after four weeks:

I feel wonderful! Within a day of starting the cleanse I noticed the benefits. I feel amazing right now  and much clearer and more energised. I see it not just for the physical health benefits which I welcomed, but also for the spiritual evolution and life shift which occurs through this clearing. I noticed my head space much quieter and clearer too. I made the decision, and with it, I wasn’t thinking about what café I could go to or sweet treat I could have! People fear that this may make life dull and boring, but it doesn’t. You move into another gear and new energy gets liberated. Of course for many it is no big deal and they eat like this every day naturally. For others it is a big change. It took four weeks to the day for my final 'leap' to ooccur. With it I felt a new level of inner light and presence. It has facilitated positive inner development you could say. I am feeling better and way more in tune, even though I felt pretty good before it started.

Some tips if you are thinking about it:

  • If you are going to go for it, make a clear decision. Put a timeline on it, write and state it out loud. The minimum is four weeks and some people may need longer.
  • Get a list of foods you can eat and recipe ideas (available upon request and online) and start preparing and imagining straight away.
  • Purchase the new foods and integrate them into your normal diet.
  • Set a date with a transition time of 4-5 days at the beginning. This means that you aim to eat only cleanse friendly foods but if something gets in or you get stuck etc. it is ok. It is to help the mind and body adjust. Start taking the amino acids but hold back on the herbs until you feel really ready.
  • Eat or clear the food in your home that is non-cleanse friendly. Out of sight – out of home! Make it as easy as possible to succeed.
  • Keep a note book of how you feel, each day makes notes and mark how you feel out of 10, energy, clarity etc. Note your dreams too. Physical cleansing also brings with it emotional release and healing. It's not important to remember your dreams but it may be interesting.
  • Observe yourself. Talk to yourself like a loving mother and father. Tell yourself that you are doing great. You can do it. Believe in yourself. Project forward and imagine how great you will be feeling when it's completed! Be proud of yourself.
  • Enjoy all the lovely new foods you can eat.
  • Cleanse with a friend or friends if you can for support and enjoyable combined meal making. It makes it more fun, supportive, interesting and your friends will thank you in the years to come!
  • Go to health restaurants and enjoy a nice meal out that is tailored to your needs. Most health restaurants cater for this type of diet.
  • Eat organic as much as you can! The additional health benefits, nutrition and taste will only make life even more enjoyable for you.
  • Just do it, a bit of a cleanse is better than none, and the next one will probably be easier :) start where you are at and go with it.

This cleanse is a gift. It is an opportunity to consciously make great habits that make you feel happier, healthier and good about yourself. For I it helped create a new equilibrium. I will enjoy this and every day and aim to honour what foods my body calls out for and at the same time not worry too much for in six months I'll be doing it or something similar all over again!

Approach:

There are many forms and many ways to meditate. For some it is sitting still, for others it can be chanting, walking, kissing, painting, dancing, knitting, cooking... It is a soulful activity that awakens and aligns one's breath and presence.

You can set an intention before you meditate for the day such as: ”I am peaceful,” or “I complete all my work satisfying by 5pm” etc… Play with it! One intention per day is enough to begin with. It is also fun to ask yourself, "What is my highest intention today?" Then close the eyes, feel the flow of the breath for 12 breaths and see what comes to mind.

It is natural to want to see results straight away AND YOU WILL. During the meditation the body and mind will calm and after that same day more peace will be observable in your life. In addition, it has a cumulative effect, so although challenges may still arise but you’ll be able to handle them with increasing ease.

I also offer The Z Point Process for True Peace of Mind developed by Grant Connolly, which is an effective and powerful technique to help release emotional attachment. This meditation practice can specifically help release emotional issues such as money, childhood, trauma, sex, heartbreak, fear…. 

How meditation works:

The simple practice of sitting down somewhere and observing one’s breath can prove amazing results. Smiling, crying, worrying, happiness, peacefulness are all human states, accept whatever you are feeling. Just accept yourself and all that is and see how calming it can be!

Meditation also opens up the heart and can expand the feeling of love. Love makes life more interesting and enjoyable. Love connects you to life, to your true essence and enables you to connect more deeply with those you meet; those you’ve known all your life and those you meet for the first time. It offers a doorway to feeling fully present in a safe, fulfilling and balanced way. The heart space is the space beyond right and wrong, beyond judgment, duality and fear. It offers freedom and oneness with the moment

Groups and one off meditation gatherings are held regularly and are open to all ages and meditation experience levels.

Introduction:

Meditation helps one feel more relaxed, at peace and present. Breathing in and out with pauses in between, while focusing on love, enables one to realise more love in life. Being aware of the breath keeps you in the now. Meditation is the method of being one with the breath and one with life.

There are many varieties of meditation. Listen to your inner calling; this can be a feeling of excitement or curiosity when you come across a poster, sign or article. A group setting or an audio guided meditation can also be a wonderful introduction. Check out my groups (send me an email if you are interested), videos and your local healing centers for more info. Allow it to be easy and enjoy!
